The Beauty Social 2015 Global Glam has been a success. With its variety of exciting booths and informative talk line up, it surely has the participating bellas lining up everywhere.
I joined two talks: 1.) Get the Look of Love with Revlon and 2.) Be like Candice with Max Factor. The two talked mostly about make up application. Revlon’s Eman de Leon showed us 2 ways of applying eyeshadow for the day make up and the night make up. It is really fun to know that Revlon’s PhotoReady Eye Art has cream and glitter for users to be able to switch from the day look to the night look with just one product.
Max Factor’s Bobby Carlos showed us how to look like the Victoria Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel. He demonstrated the proper way to put mascara and blush on, and introduced the Lipfinity color + gloss. He also imparted several beauty hacks like how powdering could save your look and how glosses are not created equal.
Truly, these simple beauty tidbits could save our look since time is really not on our hands when we put make up. For bellas on the go, these infos are really helpful.
There are several booths to choose from. Here’s a list: Canon, 2nd Ave, Grab Taxi, FS Bioderma, CoverGirl, K-Pallete Cure, Revlon, Globe, GSK, Browhaus/Strip, Morrison Lotions, Status Salon, The Face Shop, V10, and Max Factor. I got a 30% discount from the Bioderma booth. I really liked their product line when I first tried it in the July BDJ Box. My favorite would be the Sebium AKN for acne prone skin and Sebium Pore Refiner. I also got free tube samples from them.
Meg Mag, Hola Mag, Grab Taxi Notebook, Pure N’ Fresh Fem Wash, Asian Secrets Body Scrub, Pantene 3-min Miracle, Max Factor Whipped Cream Foundation, and Olay Body Wash and Day Cream.
